I realized the other day I had not posted a single thing under the metallic colour category. I am not sure how that happened with all of the incredible shades that sparkle, shine and glitter. Since metallics like gold, silver, bronze, pewter, copper, etc. reflect light, they are colours with special qualities of dimension and life. Personally, I have never met a sequin or pile of glitter that I didn’t like! Looking forward to future metallic celebrations and hoping these photos colour you happy.

It’s Friday so it is time for another edition of colour me happy! I still haven’t decided if this feature will always have a theme but for this week, I decided to focus on the vibrant colours of food and food styling. I think I was inspired when I saw a photo of that incredible pasta. From the unexpected brilliant magenta of beets to the bold yolk of an egg to the soft dusty white of baguettes, there is so much amazing colour in food. I hope to revisit this topic often!

Over the last week and a bit, I have been introducing some of the special features I hope to develop. I thought today would be the best day for colour me happy to appear for the first time. What is this feature? Right now, it is ten or more images that are full of colour and hopefully, inspiration. Future editions might have a theme and perhaps connect somehow. Regardless of how it evolves, I just hope it ends your week on a bright note and truly does colour you happy!
