pencil calendar {objects of desire}

I absolutely love this genius calendar by Mytton Williams Design. The calendar consists of 12 pencils, one for each month. The days of the month are printed along each pencil and are sharpened off during daily use. My favourite part? The pencils are colour coded to match the seasons or expected temperature of each month. A fantastic piece of design and perfect antidote to sterile work calendars!

These pencils are great! I love the fact that they are colour coded by temperature or season – I think October would be my favourite! :)
They remind me of advent candles where you burn down each day until you reach Christmas!

Very advent calendar-ish! I would find it hard to actually use this calendar because it is so beautiful in the box. Perhaps one for use and one to stare at? ;)
