iconic images in 140 circles of colour

Graphic Nothing reduced famous paintings and album covers down to 140 circles of colour. Step back from your screen and the image becomes clear. Definitely shows how powerful colour is in creating iconic images! (from top: Mona Lisa, The Beatles’ ‘Abbey Road’, Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ and Nirvana’s ‘Nevermind’)

That is craziness. How crazy is it that I got the Mona Lisa right away? The others, not so easy. But here you have this amazingly complex painting that is layers upon layers upon layers of colour and yet can be distilled so simply because its colour scheme is so highly recognizable and our brains are so brilliantly clever. Awesome!

Beautiful blog! I will visit often!
